The Critical Care Unit (CCU) at Wise Health System provides intensive, specialized care for critically ill and injured patients.
Wise Health System is equipped with the most advanced monitoring equipment to provide continuing specialized care until the patient is stable enough to be moved to a unit with a less intense level of care.
- Nurses are cross-trained to work in the Emergency Room and the CCU.
- Staff has a combined 181 years experience.
- Staff includes a neurologist and pulmonologist, meaning patients don’t have to be transported to another facility for these services.
- iSirona monitoring system is used that electronically sends cardiac patient data directly to computer charting.
