Background
Dr. Jeffrey C. Lin was born in San Jose, California, and received his bachelor of science with honors in biochemistry from the University of California. He received an MD from Baylor College of Medicine. He completed training in general surgery at the University of California, Irvine, Medical Center, as well as at Allegheny University of the Health Sciences-Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for thoracic surgery, with additional training in cardiac surgery at Emory University-Egleston Children’s Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Lin is board certified in Thoracic and General surgery, and is a fellow of the American College of Surgery. He is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, Texas Medical Association, American Medical Association and the Fort Worth Surgical Society. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Surgery.
