When Leslie Hollis, MD opened her practice in Decatur in August 1999, She knew she was embarking on a great new adventure. She has watched children grow from infants to beginning kindergarten and from starting high school to leaving for college. The years have flown by.
It has been a privilege for Dr. Hollis to serve the children of North Texas and be a part of their lives. She has worked with children in many capacities since she was a teenager. She babysat when I was young, taught daycare in college, and discovered my love for pediatrics while in medical school at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Hollis came to Texas in 1996 for her pediatric residency training at Scott & White in Temple. She and her husband Barry felt God leading them to Decatur.
Dr. Hollis looks forward to establishing a relationship with your child and your family. Her role is to help your child grow into a healthy adult. Not only will she give immunizations and treat illness, but as they develop she will help guide them to make healthy choices.
The relationship between a child and their pediatrician is an important one. Dr. Hollis looks forward to getting started on a healthy future together.
