We at Total Diabetes care are passionate about diabetes education. The goal of the Total Diabetes Team is to help patients be successful in managing their diabetes. We are dedicated to teaching patients the self-management skills they need to live successfully with diabetes.
Dick Gilley, RN ,CCRN, CDE
Dick received his associate degree in nursing in 2005. He has worked in ICU and CCU specializing in liver and kidney transplants and maintain his critical care nurse certification. Dick also provides ACLS education and certification for Wise Health System. He became a certified diabetes educator in 2014 and enjoys teaching patients with diabetes.
Brenda Haile, RN, BSN, CDE
Brenda received her associate degree in nursing in 1994 and BSN in 2014. Brenda has been in the nursing field for over 25 years. She has been a certified diabetes educator since 2008. She is passionate about diabetes education and enjoys educating patients.
Both Dick and Brenda are certified insulin pump trainers and provide cutting-edge insulin pump therapy and continuous glucose monitoring with advanced trending techniques utilized.
