Healing is a complex process. Millions of people each year suffer from chronic, non-healing wounds. For many, these wounds can affect their quality of life, from embarrassment, discomfort, infection, to more serious complications.
If left untreated, these wounds can lead to complications such as infection, hospitalization, deformities, decrease in function, amputation, and even sepsis or death.
